United we stand, and we recognise that we are building and developing homes for people with a disability on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.

I, Patrick Wilsmore am a proud husband, Dad and son to my wife, three children and my Mum in law who are proud of there Aboriginal heritage and we all seek to learn more about there Biripi and Wiradjuri local culture, traditions and the importance of genuine equality.

Cultural Vision:

Experience Social Growth’s vision for reconciliation is for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of our nation to be restored to their rightful place in Australia and for a nation to be healed and united. As the oldest living culture in the world, we feel privileged and proud of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nation and will continue to celebrate their rich and vibrant culture.

Experience Social Growth is committed to understanding the experiences of past injustices and subsequent disadvantage for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and working towards closing the gap in equality. We will continue to nurture our relationship and have meaningful collaboration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to ensure a unified and equitable future for all.

We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples deep and timeless connection to the land, rivers, oceans, and mountains and skies and hope to draw on their knowledge to care for our own environment and their land we are building on.

Experience Social Growth has developed this statement with the guidance of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, community leaders and Reconciliation Australia. We are committed to ensuring their are genuine employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within ESG and we promote an environment where open, respectful, and meaningful conversations can take place.

As an organisation we want to continue to learn about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their culture. We want to promote the need for cultural awareness, safety and community development.

ESG sees an opportunity to support its local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through promoting and advocating for change around cultural inclusion, celebrating diversity and encouraging respect in an authentic and meaningful way.

We are steadfast in our commitment to uphold the spirit of reconciliation, we aspire to be leaders and advocates for equality and to ensure the future for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nation is inclusive and respectful.
